I believe in creating a warm, safe and confidential environment from which you can explore the difficulties you face, rediscover your strengths and make changes that will improve your life. My aim is to help you to know yourself, independent from the views of others. This can involve challenging long held beliefs and perceptions and this I do in a supportive, educative and non-judgemental manner.

I offer a pluralistic approach to counselling based on the principles of Person Centred Therapy (PCT). I focus on providing the time and space to explore and discuss the issues which may be troubling you. A pluralistic approach means I use different therapeutic approaches in my work alongside you such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory and transactional analysis (TA). During sessions with me you will be able to explore your thoughts and feelings free from concerns of rejection or judgement.

Relationship Counselling

I am a qualified and experienced relationship counsellor. I currently work with individuals of all ages and in all types of intimate partnerships, to recognize and resolve conflicts and improve their relationships.

Disordered Eating

I work with adults who have disordered eating patterns and those who eat as a means of coping with their emotions.

Supervision

My aim is to work collaboratively with you to support your practice in a constructive, relaxed learning environment.
